A native Angelino, Gina has worked as an art professional and educator for over two decades. An expert in human-centered design, Gina thrives when identifying the unique needs and vision of her clients and helping to support them throughout the process of taking a dream project from conception to completion.
Gina has always loved DPP’s philosophy of Home as Art and engaged the brokerage when purchasing and selling her first home in Silver Lake. During these transactions, she discovered their client-centered process of buying and selling real estate was remarkably like her own and she developed a love for real estate ownership and investment. Having a mutual appreciation and understanding of the power of aesthetics, design, service, and story, she looks forward to assisting clients in making one of the most important financial decisions of their lives.
She holds a master’s degree in Public Practice from Otis College of Art and Design and a BA in Theatre Arts from Cal State University Northridge. She is the founder of Art + Public Practice, a creative studio that brings together artists, non-profits, and local government agencies to advocate, strategize, and produce community-centered projects focused on the intersections of art, social and environmental justice. She has taught and lectured at numerous educational institutions and several non-profits to build projects, exhibitions, public events, and campaigns.
Her steadfast belief in the power of dreams, art, and community and their ability to transform lives sets the foundation of her work in everything she does. She views life as a living, breathing artistic endeavor. Her favorite past-times are play and photography. Give her a location, wardrobe, make-up, and a wig and it’s on! She is thrilled to partner and venture with DPP, and looks forward to meeting you in the near future!
