What are the steps of using dpp Curate?

Designer Walkthrough:
Once you’ve signed a listing agreement with your dpp agent, they will bring a dpp Curate designer to your home for a walkthrough. Together you will decide upon a scope of work that will best position your home to sell and sell high.

Proposal Presentation:
Your dpp Curate designer will obtain bids from vendors on the dpp Curate platform. The designer and your dpp agent will then compile the best bids and send them to you for your approval.

Approval:
You will have a three-minute underwriting call with dpp Curate to confirm that you qualify. Once approved, you will be sent contracts that can be digitally signed.

Project Starts:
dpp Curate will assign your home a project manager who will be responsible for coordinating all aspects of the project.

Frequently Asked Questions

Payment is due by you, the seller, either after the close of escrow, or up to one year after the project is completed, whichever comes first.

No. This is not a loan, therefore no interest is charged.

There is no dollar limit or restriction on scope. However, all services must be deemed to result in a positive return on investment. Additionally, the owner must have sufficient equity in the home for the proceeds to cover the cost of services rendered at closing.

DPP Curate offers full-service project management. However, if you would prefer to self-manage, or have your DPP agent to manage the process, that is also an option.

Once your DPP agent has submitted your listing, DPP Curate endeavors to have a walkthrough with a DPP Curate designer within 3-to-4 business days. That designer will then provide a written proposal within 3 business days of their visit.

The timeline for work completed varies greatly depending on the scope of work.

As the homeowner, you will have the ultimate word on scope of work, and will sign-off on the proposal.

DPP Curate is designed for serious home sellers. If for any reason the home is taken off the market, or the listing agreement is canceled/expires, payment is immediately due and payable by the homeowner.

No. These services are available for homes at all price points. You and your DPP agent should consider together what scope of services might yield the greatest market return.

It is possible to use other vendors, as long as they meet dpp Curate’s insurance and licensing requirements.

“I had heard about staging but didn’t want to spend $7k. dpp Curate fronted the cost to stage my condo and it sold for $101,109 more than my neighbor’s identical unit across the hall. Thanks for putting an extra $94k in my pocket!”
