This house is in the Carthay Square section of Los Angeles, in the Carthay Square Historic Preservation Overlay Zone. Like many of its neighbors, it was designed in the Tudor Revival style, and the owners have updated the interior while retaining the original facade.

Several museums, including the Los Angeles County Museum of Art and the Petersen Automotive Museum, are within a mile of the property, as is the stretch of Wilshire Boulevard known as the Miracle Mile. Downtown Los Angeles is about 20 minutes away by car.

Indoors: Steps rise from the street through an English country-inspired front yard dotted with lavender bushes and a small fountain.
