Serene Spanish-style bungalow in Venice asks $1.9M

Venice real estate prices may have reached ridiculous heights in recent years, but so far that hasn’t made the neighborhood’s homey bungalows and beach cottages any less charming.

This 1920s Spanish-style residence is a perfect example. Set back behind tall hedges and fronted by a lush lawn and gardens, the home looks like a very peaceful retreat just a few blocks from Rose Avenue.

The 1,428-square-foot home has three bedrooms and two bathrooms, with a wealth of original features, from its hardwood floors to its lovely beamed ceilings and French doors. Other features include built-in shelving, casement windows, skylights, and an elegant fireplace in the living room.
