This August, Pasadena-Foothills Association of Realtors (PFAR) joined forces with the Pasadena Educational Foundation (PEF) to distribute meals to families at two local schools as part of PFAR’s ongoing Giving Initiative. The initiative, launched in May, aims to give Realtors® a chance to invest and give back to the communities they serve. Working alongside Pasadena Unified School District Staff (PUSD), Realtors® strapped on their masks and gloves to provide socially distanced hot meals for a number of local families in need.
Among the volunteers, DPP showed strong support for the community. Partners who took the time to volunteer included Leeann Grayson, Bonnie Matthews, dpp VP Lynwen Hughes-Boatman, and PFAR president Eddie Ramirez. As a local community based brokerage, deasypennerpodley takes pride in giving back and providing for our neighbors, especially during this difficult time. As Eddie Ramirez said, “Realtors® are the cornerstone of the community and PFAR is committed to being a valuable resource to its communities. It’s very exciting to see our Realtors® lean into this wonderful opportunity of service to continue our support of educators and families in this unprecedented time.” We couldn’t agree more!
