Located in Pasadena’s Hastings Ranch neighborhood, right up against the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains, this four-bedroom post and beam home is just lovely.

Some of the home’s “continuous walls of glass” are visible from the stairs that lead to the front doors. Inside, the communal rooms are clustered together—living room, dining area, kitchen. The kitchen was recently redone by architect Barbara Bestor.

Built in the early 1970s, the house measures just under 2,500 square feet. Public records indicate it last sold in 2006, for a nice, round $1 million. It’s now listed for $1.899 million.
