Excessively Charming ‘Snow White Cottage’ in Los Feliz Asks $749k

The so-called Snow White Cottages were once housing for animators at Walt Disney’s studio, which was located nearby at the time. (Disney’s studios were on Hyperion before they expanded their outfit and moved to Burbank.) This particular cottage was built around 1936, and, where it was “rumored to have also been used by Disney until the early 1940’s,” according to the listing.

The two-bedroom storybook cottage has a lot more than Disney lore going for it. Original details abound—stained glass, vaulted and beamed ceilings, built-in china cabinets, and even original hardware.

In some parts of the house, like the kitchen, the original elements look a little worn, but in a charming, endearing kind of way—like maybe some animated birds are going to fly out and help with cooking dinner. The 1,111-square-foot house is asking $749,000.
