Always in the shadow of older sister Marsha, Jan is finally having her moment. Eve Plumb, who famously played middle sister Jan on The Brady Bunch, just sold the oceanfront home she purchased in 1969 at age 11 (with help from her parents) for a $3.9 million windfall, reports the Los Angeles Times. The modest 1950s-style bungalow, located on Escondido Beach in Malibu, has 850 square feet of living space, with three bedrooms, 1.5 baths, and a wraparound deck. However, the property will reportedly receive a lofty makeover by Meis Architects, which also designed the Staples Center. Renderings show the new home will be a modern-style residence with a cantilevered design featuring walls of glass and 3,500 square feet of living space. Lesson learned: invest in real estate before your Sweet 16.
