Deasy Penner Podley Welcomes Partner Rob Johnsen

deasypennerpodley is excited to announce Rob Johnsen as a new agent to our Los Robles family.

Rob grew up on Bainbridge Island (Seattle), where his passion for real estate began by pounding nails into the floors of his father’s construction sites.

After graduating from American University in Washington D.C., Rob began his career as a retail buyer and culminating as a financial planner at Bloomingdales in New York City.

In 2003, Rob launched an online advertising platform, mywedding.com, which he grew into a multi-million dollar business and sold in 2009.

After relocating to Los Angeles, where he met his wife, a former Warner Bros. executive, Rob began raising a family and investing in apartment buildings.

Having built an impressive portfolio of multi-family units across Southern California (Silver Lake, Long Beach, Mar Vista, Highland Park, Chinatown, and Inglewood), as well as flipping several million dollar homes from Altadena to Laguna Beach, and developing multi-unit properties (including navigating the arduous Los Angeles permit and building process), Rob is now focusing on helping others achieve their real estate dreams.

When he’s not practicing real estate, Rob can be found practicing Jiu Jitsu and training for ultra marathons in his Los Feliz neighborhood.
