A historic Pasadena estate made for entertaining is on the market for $38.5 million.
The seven-bedroom, 32,644-square-foot compound with 21 bathrooms sits behind gates on 2.5 acres of parkland near the Langham Huntington hotel. It includes a 1916 Colonial Revival-style mansion and a three-level commercial-grade art museum repurposed as an entertainment center with a Tiki bar, a movie theater and game rooms.
An underground passageway serviced by elevators connects the two structures.
Records show the property last sold in 2011 for $7.294 million. It has been on and off the market since April 2021, when it sought $48 million. It then dropped to $45 million in February 2022 before it relisted this month at its current ask.
