When last seen on the market in May, this 1960s ranch in Highland Park was in a bit of a sad state, as its previous listing photos illustrate. Six months later, its frown has been turned upside down.
Located in the midcentury enclave of Arroyo View Estates, just east of Garvanza, the three-bedroom home has been overhauled dramatically, but not drastically. Original character features—such as the entry foyer’s terrazzo tile, the living room’s stone fireplace and wood paneling, the kitchen cabinetry, the house intercom/radio system, and rock waterfall fountain—have been retained and restored.
