Having enjoyed a highly successful career in high-end retail and luxury consumer product businesses for powerhouse brands such as Saks, Nordstrom’s, Lancome, Estee Lauder and The Body Shop, Jan now applies her renowned work ethic, focus, marketing savvy, finely-honed negotiating skills and superb instincts to her real estate business.
 
A natural when it comes to client relations and customer service, Jan excels in the art of listing and communicating having led and motivated large sales teams, managed multimillion-dollar budgets and forged client relationships across the U.S., Europe and China.

As a native of Pasadena and a long time resident of Sierra Madre, Katie Orth has intimate knowledge of the many and varied neighborhoods that make up the foothills of the San Gabriel Valley. Her early education took place in Pasadena, including an Associate of Arts degree from Pasadena City College. She graduated from the University of California, Irvine with a Bachelor of Arts in Social Ecology and then attended the Graduate School of Education at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo.
 
Her previous occupation as a Floor Broker on the (now defunct) Pacific Stock Exchange prepared her well for the acute attention to detail necessary in a real estate transaction. She is fanatic about protecting her clients’ interests when writing contracts. Along with her business partner, Judy Webb-Martin, Katie is committed to offering her clients a real estate experience that is seamless from start to finish with some fun thrown into the mix. Many of her clients become friends.
 
Her professional memberships are many including her local, state, and national Boards of Realtors®. She has long served on the Professional Standards Committee of the Arcadia Association of Realtors® and has been certified as a mediator by the California Association of Realtors®. Her advanced designations include Graduate of Real Estate Institute (GRI), Certified Residential Specialist (CRS), Certified Residential Broker (CRB) and Senior Real Estate Specialist (SRES).
 
Katie is passionate about animals, especially horses, dogs and cats. She enjoys spending time with family and friends, travel, reading and walking at least 10,000 steps a day!
